LEARN FRUITS AND VEGETABLES.

Learn Fruits and Vegetables is an educational game for kids from 2 years old to learn new vocabulary and language comprehension.

Kids will also learn: shapes, colors, sizes and numbers and have fun playing with puzzles and coloring fruits and vegetables.

In all phases the order and position in which the elements appear are random, to work cognitive flexibility.

PHASE 1: LEARN

In the first phase a large book appears with drawings and the name in capital letters.

When you click on each picture, the kid will hear the name of the fruit and see a photo of the fruit. The photograph is on a white background to make it easier to associate the image, the drawing and the word.

PHASE 2: WHERE IS IT?

In this phase six drawings of fruits and vegetables appear on the board, and the child will hear questions such as where is the pear?:

If you click on the image of the pear, a photograph of a pear will open, while saying very good! Oh great!
If you press another drawing twice, the question will be repeated and a clue will be displayed on the correct drawing, to help the child identify the correct answer.

In this phase we work abstraction through the association of real photography, drawing, written word and oral language.

PHASE 3: ASSOCIATE

The child will associate the drawing with the picture containing the actual photograph. In this sentence we work:

eye-manual coordination
abstraction by associating the drawing to the image

As in the other phases, the images appear in random order to work cognitive flexibility.

PHASE 4: COLORS

A train with colored wagons picks up the fruit.

A child drives the train and says hello when they arrive and goodbye when they leave, in this way we also work on social norms such as greeting

The wagons change color randomly, to work flexibility and to prevent children from associating a position with a specific color. Children have to observe the train and discover what colors it brings each time.

PHASE 5: NUMBERS

In this phase a car brings different boxes with numbers to classify the fruit. The child greets on arrival and says goodbye on leaving.

The child will hear simple instructions of the game before starting.

Flexibility works in two areas:

The boxes appear in different order. In addition to flexibility, it is a way to ensure understanding of the concept of number and quantity. The child cannot associate a quantity with a position in the car, because the boxes will appear in different positions each time.
Fruit groups also appear randomly. Groups do not always appear for each box, and it may happen that in a game a box does not have any associated groups.

PHASE 6: SIZE

In this phase the children will learn the sizes: small, medium and large.

Three baskets on the grass of different sizes, to which children must drag the fruits and vegetables that will appear, randomly, to their corresponding size.

PHASE 7: SHAPES

Three shapes will appear in the sky: circle, square and triangle.

Fruits and vegetables that have been shaped will appear, and children must identify and drag to the corresponding shape.

In this phase we work on cognitive flexibility, because both shapes and fruits and vegetables appear randomly.

PHASE 8: COLOR

15 drawings to color with the child's finger. In this phase, the eye-manual coordination and the imitation of models are worked on.

First, kids colors the picture with his finger. Then a fruit card appears with eyes, mouth and some extra element. Kids must drag the three objects on the colored fruit in the same way the elements are placed on the card.

Upon returning to the coloring panel, the fruit remains colored, indicating that this drawing has already been completed, and being able to see the ones that are still pending.

PHASE 9: PUZZLES

15 puzzles that show fun situations with fruits and vegetables that help children unhance imagination.

The pieces are square, to work the importance of the content of the image. The shape does not provide valuable information, kids have to observe the content of the piece in order to make the puzzle.

Upon returning to the puzzle panel, it is marked as completed, so that the child can see the ones he has pending.
